Mixed Roots Chocolate is a special collaboration with Coracao Chocolate Confections, manufactured in Richmond, CA. Aligning with the overall Mixed Roots Brand, which presents a blend and cross-section of Blends Rooted in Staying Conscious of Health and Culture through Food. Mixed Roots Chocolate will serve as the Philanthropic platform to not only help raise awareness and funds for Mixed Roots Foundation and its key programs, including the Mixed Roots Academy, but will also offer products that will promote Unity and Collaboration among various cultures and communities to provide delicious and healthy treats for all to enjoy, all while giving back.
Coracao
In 2008, Food allergies had prevented the founders of Coracao from enjoying their favorite childhood chocolates, so they embarked on a mission to recreate the cacao-powered treats they craved - using only high-quality, sustainably sourced, and better-for-you ingredients that nourish people as well as the planet.
Mixed Roots Foundation
Mixed Roots Foundation is a 501c3 established in 2011 raising awareness and funds for the global multicultural, adoption and foster care community and leverages grass roots fundraising and unique philanthropic programs to further support mentoring, DNA Testing and unique scholarships in education including the Mixed Roots Academy that will replicate the model of the Mixed Roots Cultural Diversity Student group that was founded over 30 years ago in 1995 and still exists today and has expanded to 6th grade middle school. Mixed Roots Academy will focus on Leadership in Entrepreneurialism with the next generation across Education, Sports, Arts/Entertainment, Tech, Culinary, and Philanthropy.
