Founded in 2008, Coracao Chocolate Confections was born from a simple but powerful craving: to enjoy chocolate again—without compromise.
Faced with food allergies that kept them from their favorite childhood treats, the founders set out on a mission to reinvent chocolate from the ground up. The result? Decadent, cacao-rich creations made with only the finest sustainably sourced ingredients—crafted to nourish both people and the planet.

Mixed Roots Foundation
The Mixed Roots Foundation is more than a nonprofit—it’s a global movement for connection, identity, and opportunity.
Established in 2011 as a 501(c)(3), the foundation is dedicated to uplifting the multicultural, adoption, and foster care community by raising awareness and funding life-changing initiatives. Through grassroots fundraising and innovative philanthropic programs, Mixed Roots Foundation creates real impact—supporting mentorship, access to DNA testing, and meaningful educational scholarships.
At the heart of its mission is the Mixed Roots Academy—a powerful evolution of the Mixed Roots Cultural Diversity Student Group founded in 1995, a program that continues to thrive and inspire students today. Building on this legacy, the Academy equips the next generation with leadership and entrepreneurial skills across key areas like Education, Sports, Arts & Entertainment, Technology, Culinary, and Philanthropy.
